Antique and contemporary Venetian, African, Dutch, Bohemian and Turkish glass beads are pleasingly combined with precious and semi-precious gemstones. Accent beads are gold, silver, 14⁄20 gold-fill or vermeil. Each bead is individually knotted by hand into place. Hand-knotting gives a more fluid feel to the necklace,and is more secure. Braided kevlar, linen or silk are used for maximum strength and durability.
